♚ ;; ava had been changing on carmilla’s orders– she had just met the
brunette ( after supposedly being MURDERED and turned into a
VAMPIRE ) and was given some one her roommate’s clothing to
change into. the young did not know where carmilla had left to ( she
mentioned something about getting ava blood ) but she did not care,
she was finally alone. alone meant peace and quiet, and peace and
quiet was pure bliss for ava. a sigh left her lips as she dragged the
dress up and over her head. and just then, the door opened and ava’s
cheeks grew warm as she turned to carmilla and–

’ y-you’re not carmilla… ’ she pointed out, blatantly, face growing more
red by the second. l a v a bubbled in her throat, as crimson hues were
wide with pure SHOCK and FEAR.
♚ ;; the red dress ava adorned slipped over her head, leaving her in her
white stockings and red undergarments. the young girl stared at the
dress for a few moments, letting it drape in her arms and–

the shifting behind her interrupted her thoughts. crimson orbs grew
wide as her cheeks flushed RED - it were almost as though she was
g l o w i n g. the pure shock of someone (much less be it odin)
walking in on her changing rendered her s p e e c h l e s s. she could
feel L A V A bubbling in the back of her throat. so there she stood,
dress in hands, and in simply white stockings and her undergarments,
staring at the boy who had walked in with EMBARRASSMENT and SHOCK.

thank you, thank you, dear !! i think
i’ll need a lot of luck tbh. this is my
first year & experience with midterms!
♚ ;; ava never meant to walk in on it, but she was kind of
glad she did. gil never meant any harm to anyone, so
when she walked into the room, and saw him being
attacked by a TITAN officer, ava’s f i r s t reaction was
to tackle the officer. had it been simply A V A who
attacked, not much damage would have been dealt– but
there was a lingering effect of drinking the hellish potion
that enabled ava to actually bring the officer down and
punch him into unconsciousness. ava scrambled back up,
a little surprised with her own work, then her gaze turned
to gil, and she was unsure of how he would react–
THANKFUL that she had helped him ? or ANGRY that
she had attacked someone that worked for TITAN ? she
winced a little as she spoke.

’ i– uhm– sorry, gil… are you okay ? ’
♚ ;; ava didn’t even know that it was possible for someone
of pedri’s race (whatever that was) to c r y. crimson hues
had first widened, then softened to a sympathetic look as
she stared at the demon-like being. perhaps he was crying
out of HAPPINESS of simply knowing just how close he
was to his wife, or crying out of ANGUISH of knowing that
he would not be able to see her until both he and Wrathia
completed their pacts with their hosts. the clear droplets
were as clear as day - to ava’s sight, at least - in contrast to
the darkness of odin’s mind. red orbs were filled with sympathy,
despite him having married the being that ruined her life.

’ i’m– i’m sorry you can’t see her yet. ’
♚ ;; ava f r o z e as soon as she saw him— he was covered in
BLOOD, and she was quite sure it was a mix of his own
and another’s. her hands shook at the sight (blood always
reminded her of what she did to herself) and her crimson
orbs wi d e n e d. wounds dressed his body,
some bigger than others. it was only for a few moments
before she quickly moved forward to aid the older boy,
W O R R Y evident in her voice.

’ o-odin !! w-what happened ?! why are you all WOUNDED ?? ’
♚ ;; thick eyebrows furrowed in D I S T R E S S as she stared
at blake before her. it wasn’t often she saw the other drinking,
of all things. a sigh left her lips as ava went to put a hand on
blake’s arm. honestly, it was one of the worst times blake could
be drunk. ava was s c a r e d, terrified that TITAN would find
them, and they’d be taken, and brainwashed, and ava would just
end up like the rest of them. MINDLESSLY following orders
and worshiping the ‘all mighty’ TITAN.

’ blake, you’re an idiot. why’d you have to get drunk now ?? ’
♚ ;; crimson orbs widened as she entered the room, but she
instantly reeled back when she saw the man— and the body.
her back hit the wall, just missing the door as she covered
her mouth with s h o c k. don’t jump to conclusions. don’t
jump to conclusions. she took a deep breath, brows furrowing
as she cleared her head. she took one step forward, one hand
grabbing nervously at the side of her red dress, and the other
simply clenching in front of her.

’ s-ssir ?? a-are you okay ? ‘
♚ ;; it was simply a f e e l i n g at first - fingers running through
her hair, and it sent butterflies straight to her stomach. it was
a g o o d feeling, one that left the ghost of a smile on her lips
as she recalls the better days of her life. a content sigh left
her lips. crimson eyes slid closed. back pressed against the
tree as her head leaned forward, as if trying to lean into the
feeling. and just like that, her glasses fell to the bridge of her
nose, and her orbs revealed themselves once again. r e d
lines bridged up onto a purple figure. her head tilted up, eyes
widening at the sight and the word slipped out of her lips
without her even realizing it. perhaps it was not even the
word of her o w n.
